Terms & Conditions

General

 

Thank you for choosing to book with Wardicott Bed & Breakfast.

We look forward to welcoming you.

When you make this booking you are entering into a legal contract with us. 

Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Prices

The price includes accommodation plus any board indicated.

Unless clearly stated on the booking form all extras such as additional meals, drinks etc are additional.

We accept the following forms of payment:

Cash and most debit cards, you may also pre-pay for your stay via non International Bank Transfer (Please ask for details).

A deposit payment may be required or card details held as security.

Booking

If you exceed the number of persons you have booked for your booking will be automatically cancelled

with no refunds and no exceptions.

Travel insurance

We recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance to cover you stay as we have strict cancellation policies in place.

Pets

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept pets.

Children

Wardicott does not accept children under 12 years old.

Cancellations

A reservation forms a legal contract for the total cost of the booking.

In the event of a cancellation less than 1 day before arrival, the total cost of the stay will become payable.

Non arrive constitutes a cancellation.

A one night stay is payable for a cancellation between 5 and 2 days before arrival.

Cancellations more than 5 days before arrival are free of charge.

If you need to cancel please contact us immediately.

Cancellation policies of some online 3rd party travel agents or accommodation sites may be different,

Please check with their own terms and conditions.

You may wish to consider and we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation/holiday insurance obtainable from a broker.

Non-Availability

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control.

We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this is not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you.

Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrivals

Check-in is between 3pm and 10.30pm, earlier or later check-in may be available by prior arrangement.

Departures

Check-out is 10am on the day of departure.

We are able to store any luggage for you to collect later that day.

Damages and Breakages

Please take care of our possessions.

You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.

Please report these as soon as they occur.

We do no normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

If we are unable to re-let your room, we may also make additional charges.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of you party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

House rules

For the benefit and comfort of all our guests, we do not allow take away meals or smoking in any area of the house.

If you smoke in the house you will be asked to leave and the balance of you stay will become payable plus additional cost of cleaning and ventilating prior to re-letting the room.
